We all love to root for the underdog, or at least I do.

I think there are lessons for us all to be learned from those people start with less than zero and through smart work, creativity, dedication, passion, and perseverance create an amazing success story.

One such person is my friend, Tim Knox, who just happens to have a new book out called, Everything I Know About Business I Learned From My Mama, A Downhome Approach To Business and Personal Success, that chronicles his journey from dirt poor Alabama kid to successful entrepreneur, author, speaker, and talk radio show host.

It is a hilarious business book that anyone thinking about business or already up to their ears in it should read.

Tim takes scenes from his poor childhood and turns them into hilarious business lessons. Only Tim could turn almost getting shocked to death by his dad into a business lesson. It cracked me up (you have to read it to understand)

I met Tim when he interviewed me for his talk radio show before the release of my last book. Even with all his success Tim is still a very down to earth guy and we hit it off immediately. We share a lot of the same viewpoints and values and a lot of the stuff Tim talks about in his book are the same kind of principles I teach to my students.

Tim’s book is available online and in bookstores across the country.
