  Hi Guys…

  I want to share an interesting personal story today with you. It happened to me
  just today.

  You know how they say everything happens for a reason… Well I think my fellow
  warriors will be inspired by this post.

  I have always looked backed in my life and said "What if?…"

  What if I did not take that job interview?
  What if I did not answer that call?
  What if I would have called in sick that say when I did not feel well?

  And you look back at the crucial point and realize, you may never have gotten
  where you are if you made a different choice that day.

  You may not have gotten married or met the special someone. Or you may not have
  the wonderful kids you have now, IF you did something different one day.

  I, as many of you know, love the whole theory of the BUTTERFLY EFFECT.

  SO much so, I call what I do Butterfly Marketing. It is about the small changes
  today that can have a dramatic effect offer time. (Good or Bad.)

  Now… For my Story…

  In 1997, I was a Finance Manager (F&I) for a Ford Dealership in N.Y.

  I was sent to Phoenix Arizona for an F&I training 3 day workshop. I met some
  great friends over those 3 days.

  One was a guy named Vic. Man, we had a blast and hung out for all 3 days and we
  even went on a Jeep Dessert tour. I got attacked, YES attacked by a Teddy Bear
  Cactus. (You had to be there.) But it made memories that will last a life time
  for me and Vic.

  We had a blast! We thought that we had made a friendship that would last a life
  time. But I only knew him as Vic, and when I got out of the car business, we
  lost touch. We did not speak for over 8 years, but when I think of Phoenix, I
  always thought of Vic…

  We went our separate ways, and it was likely, since I was out of the business,
  we would never meet again…

  FAST FORWARD EIGHT YEARS LATER…

  Vic also left the car business to pursue his dreams in real estate and Hypnosis.

  He found a friend making money online and he got a BUG UP HIS BUTT to do the
  same thing. He stumbled on a site that had an interview with RUSSELL BRUNSON and
  MIKE FILSAIME.

  He did not remember my last name at all either. But in the interview, he heard
  that this guy Mike Said, "I am from NY and I was in the car business for 14
  years."

  He said, "hmmm.. no way in HELL it is the same guy." He went to my site at
  MikeFilsaime.com and saw my picture. But it is 8 years later, (and thousands of
  hairs missing from my head) so he was not sure if the guy in the Pic was the
  same "Mike" he met in Arizona 8 years ago.

  But, he decided to send an email to this "Mike Filsaime" guy to see if by some
  .01% chance it was a miracle that it would be the same guy he met, for 3 only
  days and nearly 8 years ago, that bonded with him so well.

  Hi my name is Vic Maranto

  I was listening to a recording with Mike
  on it and he said he was an ex-Car Salesman.

  I am
  an Ex-Car Salesman too and I met a
  "Mike" from New York in 1997 in Phoenix
  Arizona at a Ford F& I Training. I was with
  him on a desert 4×4 Jeep excursion and he
  accidentally touched a Teddy Bear Cactus.

  We
  hung out that week and I was wondering
  if this is the same Mike? I would like to
  get in touch with him if it is him. I would
  appreciate it if you could pass this along
  to Mike.

  So I got that email and got Chills, literally goose bumps.

  I emailed him back with my number.

  OMG, it was the same guy I met nearly 8 years ago. We just spoke for about 1
  hour on the phone and we did not want to hang up. So much stuff we could talk
  about. The time we met and had so much fun, the car business, online marketing,
  etc…

  It made us both think, there were Eight Jeeps on the tour, but for some reason,
  we both got in the same Jeep and sat next to each other.

  There were over 300 people at that training event, but by chance, we met and
  became friends. And by some other fluke of nature, we had a chance to re-unite.

  We spoke on the phone and we are now going to keep in touch for ever.

  I recently posted about this in a Forum a few hours ago. But it got me
  thinking….

  I will be speaking at the Focus 4 The Future Seminar in November and the event
  is affordable for anyone to come that has been waiting for the right price to
  come to an event.

  What I ask is that you come to this event and put in place changes in your life
  that will forever change your future.

  More Proof, You CAN Create Buzz and a Marketing Virus

  Today I came across a BRILLIANT campaign from Burger King where they tell their customers that they no longer sell the whopper. (Those of you in Australia know this as Hungry Jacks.)

  They filmed their customers literally FREAKING OUT and you are then told to see how they freak out at WHOPPERFREAKOUT.com

  They even give you embed code to place on your site. I am placing the video below.

  I recently did a presentation talking about that fact that you CAN manufacture BUZZ and then when combined with keys to viral marketing, it can explode over the Internet in just days. They use a great catalyst with the television spots. Then along with humor and controversy, the buzz is created. Two very important factors in creating Buzz.And then, they leave you hanging for more, so you must go to the site.

  After seeing the full video, you are then given a choice to embed the video and send an email about the site to a friend. (Which I did.)
